Works on Water is an organization and triennial exhibition dedicated to artworks, performances, conversations, workshops and site-specific experiences that explore diverse artistic investigation of water in the urban environment. We seek to strengthen and nourish the community of artists working on and with bodies of water and to provide a platform to increase awareness of artists and organizations working on and with the waterways.
2017-2022
WORKS ON WATER
As one of the co-founders of this collective/organization, I worked with Sarah Cameron Sunde, Emily Blumendfeld, Nancy Nowacek, Clarinda Mac Low and Katie Pearl to realise the first exhibition and residency program. Followed by additional community-based programmes, partnerships and residencies. Over the years, Katie Pearl shifted to advisor and sTo Len and Carolyn Hall joined the organizing committee.
2017 Triennial
An exhibition featuring 10 commissioned works, field explorations, discussions and workshops relating the the urban waterways.
